The Creek Golf Club is located at 640 Ketner Avenue in Spartanburg. The 18-hole par 72 course measures 6,653 yards from the longest tees. Their original Bermuda grass greens were resodded in 2010 with Diamond Zoysia, which should provide superior playing conditions. Guest green fees for Monday-Friday play are $29, which includes a cart. Twilight rates after 1pm are $23. Green fees on weekends and holidays are $36 (Twilight rate $26). Seniors 60 and older pay $23 for Monday-Thursday play. The Creek Golf Club has a fully stocked pro shop which offers equipment and apparel. The Bar and Grill serves lunch and snacks daily and a full breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
River Falls Plantation is located at 100 Player Boulevard in nearby Duncan, South Carolina. The club is approximately halfway between Spartanburg and Greenville. The 18-hole course, designed by Gary Player, offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course has nicely rolling fairways and borders the South Tyger River. Their greens are also newly resodded with Diamond Zoysia. Green fees on Monday-Friday are $44.25. Weekends and holidays are $54.75. Senior rates are $28.35 on Monday-Friday, and weekends and holidays are $36.75 after 1pm. River Fall Plantation has a driving range, a bar and grill, and a fully stocked pro shop for equipment and apparel.
Oak Ridge Country Club is a public course on the east side of Spartanburg. It is located at 5451 South Pine Street. The 18-hole par 72 course measures 6,156 yards from the longest tees. The semi-hilly course has tree-lined fairways and Bent grass greens. Lots of elevation changes give the course an interesting layout. Lakes and creeks come into play on nine of the holes. Oak Ridge Country Club has a snack bar, driving range, putting green, and a fully stocked pro shop. The club’s new owner, Warrior Golf, is committed to making a number of improvements to the course and facilities.
