Golf in Turkey – Why the big deal?

Over the past couple of years there has been a new place which many seasoned golfers are talking about, no its not the fantastic Algarve in Portugal or the Costa Del Sol in Spain, it is in fact Turkey.

Turkey is fast becoming the go to destination for golfers of all abilities and people from all over Europe are going in groups large and small to play on these fantastic courses.

The region of Belek is the most popular destination for Golf holidays as there is over 15 different golf courses with fantastic hotels to match as well as year round warm weather.

With literally 40 plus 5 star hotels in this region alone and facilities to match this creates a effect holiday destination for golfers.

With courses south as the Tat International and the Gloria all within 10km of each other then golfers newbies or experienced are able to play without problem here.   We have listed 3 courses that we recommend for mid to high handicapped golfers.

The National  has received international recognition such as ranking the number 42 golf course in Europe from the UK’s Golf World magazine. Extra awards have also been received from  Germany’s Die Welt magazine ranking the course as the number 9 in Europe. Sueno Golf Course – Pines

The condition of this course is fantastic and tees and greens excellent. The course overall is tricky but testing and playable at the same time. The clubhouse at the Sueno is also in great condition with all modern facilities.  The course has excellent views specifically from the 9th and 18th holes with good seating areas for players. Pasha Golf Course

This par 72 course has arguably the best greens in the region and some of the best and widest fairways. The course is ideal for golfers with a medium to high handicap, and therefore expect some tricky holes, especially the 8th and 15th.
